
As a public relations practitioner for more than 25 years, Phil has learned to speak two languages, that of the client and that of the agency. This expertise lets him provide clients with creative public relations programs that grow their businesses and reputations. Throughout his years in public relations, Phil has created and managed varied communications programs for companies large and small, garnering numerous awards within the communications industry.
Among the clients Phil has worked with are CommunityAmerica Credit Union, Swiss Re, YRC Worldwide, Kansas City Power and Light Company, Old Spice, and Sprint. For these companies, Phil has created honored media relations campaigns, customer contact and retention programs, and award winning events and video productions.
Phil has spent time as a radio news anchor and reporter and, to this day, is still a true media junkie. He reads many local, regional and national news outlets online, and is considered an expert in electronic, print and social media trends. He is often called upon to be a guest lecturer at colleges and universities, speaking on strategic communications.
On Shopping: Although, I’m becoming more of an Internet shopper, I’m still totally won over by an overall store shopping experience. If that store has a pleasant, open atmosphere and has experts willing to help, I’m sold. My best shopping experience is at The Men’s Warehouse. They take the time to understand what I’m shopping for and what at what price range. In other words, they want to understand me as a true and valued consumer. And they treat me as such.
