Ferry Keizer

VP, Creative Director

Ferry Keizer

Ferry started his professional career with global shoe retailer Payless ShoeSource. He witnessed the transformation of a family-owned regional shoe company as it grew into a public company and then the nation’s number-one shoe retailer. It was with Payless that Ferry gained experience with a company specifically targeted to young and working families, which had the objective of providing shoes that were both fashionable and affordable.

As a graphic designer in Payless’ internal promotion agency, Ferry provided creative services ranging from national print campaigns to seasonal in-store point-of-sale materials. His responsibilities included corporate communications, designing in-store marketing items and specifying printing and distribution of promotional materials nationwide. He also assisted in designing shoe and accessory packaging and labeling.

Ferry has spent the past 26 years of his career with Callahan Creek and has helped contribute to the agency’s evolution from a local design shop to an advertising agency that serves clients with national and global reach. Besides his creative responsibilities for our clients, Ferry helps manage, mentor and grow the creative department.

Outside his professional responsibilities, Ferry serves on the board of directors for the Douglas County Senior Center and the Free State High School advisory panel for digital art and photography. He’s also a charter member of the Photodudes, a renegade group of photography enthusiasts.
